Donna's House Fund
Donation protected
On the the morning of Feburarym 21th, our dear friend and co-worker, Donna, lost her home and everything in it, in a house fire. There home was in the Lake Monticello neighborhood outside of Charlottesville. See news links below.
The local fire department did an AMAZING work getting the fire put out. They even scooped the fish out of the tank and pulled photos from the walls. They are true heros and caring individuals.
Everyone, including pets, are alive and unharmed:
- Donna ("Nanny")
- Her husband ("Papa" who is disabled)
- Her daughter
- Her four grandchildren (one pregnant w/ a son on the way)
- Her great granddaughter (8 months old)
- 3 dogs
-fish
Donna is a loyal employee and a generous person. She has poured out to the lives of many. She is the main provider for her household.
Donna's family needs as much help as they can get right now. In the immediate, they need funds for food, clothes and supplies. Their insurance is making arrangments for temporary housing, but they must pay upfront and submit reimbursement. This funding helps them stay on track as they rebuild their lives. In the near future, they will need funds to furnish the house. Estimated timeline 6 -9 months.
If you feel compelled to give, please do. No donation is too small.
As information becomes available on how to give non-monetary items (food, clothing, etc), I will update the page.
We thank you for your generosity!
Love,
Ereina & Sonia
