Donation for Kimlong Vang

On a relatively quiet November morning, I awoke to my mother alarmed voice, telling me something was wrong with my dad. It was later, at St. Joseph Hospital, that we learned he suffered from a hemorrhagic stroke. A healthy man, this came as a shock to my family. Since his hospitalization, he has not woken up or made any improvements. Due to his unique situation, the doctor will no longer operate on him; therefore, he is currently at a respiratory long term care facility.

My dad is a selfless man who would open his heart and home to anyone. Respected by all, my father’s footprint can be seen both in his home and his community. Those who have meet my father can attest to his infectious smile, positive energy, and genuine conversations. Tears met by the writing of these words, I never thought I’d have to see my father in so much pain. It is with a courageous heart that I ask the community to help give to a man who’s given so much to the world.  

The staggering hospital cost continues to increase as my father fights for his life. He is my dad, my hero,  my role model. We ask that you keep my family and my dad in your thoughts, and I ask those who can to please donate.
