SIREN Eaton Shelter

If I told you that you could single handedly help me make a difference in the lives of women and children in your community, would you? Will you help me to provide safe homes, food, advocacy, education, and hope to the homeless and domestic violence victims and survivors this holiday season? I pray you will.

My name is Chelsea Cummings and I am the new Executive Director of SIREN/Eaton Shelter located in Charlotte, MI. During my first two months I was able to meet a women with 5 children who recently lost everything because of abuse. Through the supportive services provided at our shelter, she was able to secure a full-time job, a vehicle, support for her children, and most of all a safe place to call home. With passion and dedication we provide these services year round with continuously shrinking resources and funds.

SIREN/Eaton Shelter houses close to 125 families per night and serves around 1,100 individuals and families per year. Each year we still have to turn down close to 1,000 families due to a lack of funding. During the last two years we’ve lost over $300,000 in federal funding. We depend on the generosity of individuals like you to continue serving those in need.

In order to continue providing these services and improving our resources for our clients we are in desperate need of raising at least $500,000. Will you help us, help others? Your generous donation of $25, $50, or $100 will help us make a difference.
