Don't let cancer kill our family

It is amazing that Aiden Michael Flanagan is even here. Jessica has been dealing with cancer for 7 years, when Andrew came into her life they fell in love and were living the dream, planning on their future,  setting goals, and living a happy life. They moved in together in 2011, and they were so happy. Jess did not feel well one day and went to her doctor, after many tests and patiently waiting it was told to them Jessica had a  tumor in her and she would need to have surgery to remove it. Andrew and Jess were stunned at this diagnosis, being Jess in her mid 20's at the time and this was something they would never have expected.  Andrew stayed by Jessica's side through the surgery and held hope the love of his life would be ok. She was, Jessica made it through the surgery. She was not released from the hospital for quite some time. Jess received months of chemo and powered through all of the side effects that come with the treatment, Andrew stood strong and loved her strength and commitment to there relationship and life. Two years to the day of her surgery, Jess and Andrew found out they were expecting a miracle child,  Andrew and Jess were married on Valentine's day, it was a quiet wedding at city hall with two friends and a justice of the piece. Aiden Michal Flanagan was born on June 8, 2014. Their love and strength grew. Aiden bonded them together even more, and they became a family. In the next several years cancer came back, Jessica has had five surgeries in the past seven years and is now facing the next chapter of their lives with this next round of surgery and recovery. through many ups and downs they stand  by each other and continue to be the best people they can be for their son. Any funds received will go to this family to keep bills paid. No matter what the struggle it is impossible for me to think of leaving behind my husband and my 4-year-old son.
