Domestic Violence - kids to camp

Help us send kids who are survivors of domestic violence to Summer Camp.  

We have 10 kids who are currently in our Domestic Violence Shelter that have signed up for a week long overnight Summer Camp in July.  The camp itself was paid for by the Salvation Army - and we are so very grateful.  

But these kids have next to nothing, so just getting them the basics to attend the camp is expensive.  

They need everything from sunscreen, bug spray, sleeping bags, tennis shoes, shorts & t-shirts, bathing suits and towels, etc. 

Kids fleeing domestic violence with a parent usually arrive with the clothes on their backs, and nothing else.  Their lives are turned upside down and this week at camp will offer a glimpse of normalcy and give them a chance to just be a kid.

We estimate they will each need about $75-$100 dollars worth of items to attend for the week.
