Save stray dogs and cats in Bogota!

I am a US citizen, living in Bogota, Colombia. My wife - Sara Correa Naranjo - absolutely loves animals. She is continually rescuing abandoned and stray dogs and cats from the streets of Bogota, and finding people to adopt them.
Unfortunately, Colombia does not have animal shelters so she has to pay for everything with her own money - vaccinations, spay and neutering, surgeries, and food and shelter - while looking for someone to adopt them. She pays about $50-100 for every animal that she rescues, sometimes more depending on the condition of the animal.
Over the course of 7 years, she has rescued 140 dogs and 30 cats from the streets of Bogota. She does this completely out of love for the animals.
I have decided to start a fundraiser to help her. My goal is to raise at least $1,000 to help her in her efforts in 2014. She currently is looking for homes for three dogs, including the one in the photo above. But she will undoubtedly rescue many more animals this coming year.
In order to help with the fundraiser, I will:
1) Match the first $100 raised with $100 of my own money.
2) I will administer the funds to ensure that all funds go directly to help the dogs and cats rescued by my girlfriend.
