Doc the Beagle's surgery fund

Donation protected

Doc is a six month old Beagle mix, the night of February 16th he ran to us crying and was in obvious pain. We rushed Doc to his veterinarian and they took him back for x-rays. After twenty nerve racking minutes the doctor returned with news neither of us were expecting. Doc has a diaphramatic hernia, the doctor believes it is something he's had since birth. The xrays showed that his abdominal organs are in his chest cavity surrounding his heart. Monday morning we will be taking Doc to Purdue University Small Animal Hospital in Indiana. Doc's work up at the hospital is est. between $1000 - $2000, and surgery ranging from $2800 - $3800. Our goal doesnt cover every expense but anything we raise will surely help us with the costs. Im a reservist in The United States Marine Corps and an employee of the United States Post Office and Doc's mother is a student in Champaign, IL. These expenses are beyond our budget but we plan to do everything in our power to get this little guy healthy! I've personally seen this pup bring joy and happiness to people on a daily basis and hopefully with the help of others we can make sure he continues to brighten peoples day.
