Hello, my name is Monteen McCord and I run a small wildlife charity called HawkTalk in north Georgia where I keep and care for injured and orphaned birds of prey.

I also have some rescue cats and this is why I am asking for help.

I love my life and I live to serve animals, but the down side of having a small charity is there isn't usually enough money to go around, especially when one of your rescue kitty's has suddenly developed a urinary blockage and would have died within hours had I not gotten him into hospital.

And wouldn't you know it would happen on a Sunday morning of a holiday weekend, so it was to Animerge Emergency Clinic in Gainesville, GA we went. They have taken wonderful care of him and he has a good prognosis.



This emergency clinic also does raptor intake for me and I appreciate them very much.

Our bill to help Dobby was estimated at close to $1,500.00 and my dear former husband allowed me to put it on his credit card, but of course I will need to pay him back.
