“Do the Damn Thing” and get this family to Disney!

Kristen, Bryan and Cayden Polizzotto  have been “kicking cancer’s butt” for the as long as they have been a family.   In 2015, at 7 months pregnant, Kristen was diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma.  She took a leave from her position as a guidance counselor and track coach at Stoneham High School to undergo risky chemotherapy treatment while pregnant.  Thankfully, Cayden was born healthy and is now a beautiful and vibrant 4 year old.

The Polizzotto family thought the worst was over, but in December, 2018, test results revealed two tumors in Kristen’s heart and two tumors in her ovaries. Kristen underwent surgery and CAR T-cell therapy, which is a new treatment that manipulated her own cells to attack cancer cells within the body. The treatment worked, but in the Spring of 2019, Kristen started getting inexplicable headaches. Her diffuse large B-cell lymphoma returned and is now attacking her central nervous system.

Unimaginably, Bryan was diagnosed with testicular cancer last June and finished three rounds of chemotherapy.  He’s been cancer-free since last October.

Kristen’s doctors have decided to give her intensive radiation for the next month, hoping that this will be her miracle.   The Polizzotto family would love to experience the magic of Disney World through trough Cayden’s eyes.  Please help me make this a reality for them.
