"Help a Guatemalan Educator"

Your donation will help purchase supplies such as crayons, markers, and children's literature books written in Spanish for this year's February 19-23, 2017 Guatemala Literacy workshops conducted with approximately 300 educators across various locations in Guatemala. 

I have been traveling to Guatemala for the past six years with other U.S. reading educators to support and positively make differences in Guatemala’s literacy efforts so more children learn to read and write. These efforts also positively transform our university teacher preparation programs and influence the field of literacy education through our published chapters and national presentations.
