Meet our Chris! This sweet guy is 16 and a Senior at Armorel High School. Christopher Wilson has been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. For those of you that don't know, Hodgkins Lymphoma is Cancer. Hodgkin Lymphoma (also known as Hodgkin's disease) is cancer that develops from cells in the lymphatic system (part of the body's immune system) called lymphocytes. Lymphocytes are a type of white blood cell that helps the body fight infections. All other lymphomas are classified as non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL)
Let's rally to help Chris and Yvette. His mother is single, self employed, hard working and determined to be by Chris' side through this entire battle.
I spoke with Christopher last night and he informed me of the following. "I am going to beat this Cancer!" There are a few things you need to know about Chris: He loves to read, especially Science Fiction. He has a Pug named Frank that he literally worships. He LOVES the Beatles! He likes Action and Horror movies. He is a gamer. He has a girlfriend, Emily Davis and is loved by everyone who is blessed enough to know him. He is the youngest of four siblings. He has two older brothers, Matt and Nick and a sister, Angel. Chris will be 17 on August 6th! Can you imagine starting your Senior year and fighting this disease? I can't!
We want to cover their personal costs and what medical bills they will have. Chris will begin his journey with St. Jude on Tuesday, August 1, 2017. We will do updates and hope that you will join us in praying for he and his family. We have a page on Facebook, Christopher's Cause, if you'd like to follow him there.
