Out Of The Blue Gallery is moving and expanding!
Our goal is to open an Art Co-Op that gives back to the community & gives a safe productive environment to artists of many mediums.
The new space at 541 Mass. Ave in Central Square Cambridge,MA is 6000 sq feet with a public parking lot right behind the building. In this huge space we are planning to make mutiple studio share spaces for artists, a private multi-purpose room that will be able to be used for private shows, dance studio, meetings, workshops, ect., and of course a gallery that will be more than twice the size of OOTB's current home.
If you aren't familiar with OOTB gallery & what they have been doing for the art community for the past 17 years, here is a list of some of the ongoing events we will continue to host.
Stone Soup Poets, The Story Space, Childrens art shows, The Dire Literary Series, Learn to Paint Creatively, Yoga/Meditation, Soul Sessions, Open Mic's, Music events, Exhibitions at Local Events, An Annual Farr Academy Art Show, and of course art shows for local & touring artists.
Many new programs will be added such as workshops for struggling youth from all walks of life, with the aims of helping them discover self-confidence, direction with creative outlets through art, music and theatre.
We want to change the art scene in Boston by creating an environment that will build eachother up and make it easier to find a way of self expression for the creative minds in our comunity.
