Want to join me in making a difference in the life of South Dallas Children?
I'm raising money to benefit RCCG, The Eagles Nest's project to provide after school educational programs for the less privileged young people in the Dixon Area of South Dallas.
The Dixon circle area is in zip code 75210. This area of South Dallas is a poor area with about 46% living below the poverty level. Currently, only about 3% of the community get education up to college/university level.
Our goal is to inspire young people through after school programs that offer lessons in coding, robotics, other STEM programs, creative writing, as well as programs that will inspire them to push themselves to reach for the skies so we can break this cycle of poverty in the community.
The Eagle's Nest owns the safest space for children in the Dixon circle area of South Dallas. It is a 4-acre property that consists of a daycare building with ample space, large classrooms, and two multipurpose halls.
The goal is to create a Christian environment where these young people in the low-income bracket in the Dixon Circle area can have access to after school educational programs that kids in other affluent areas have access to at little or no cost to them if possible.
Our desire is for the Dixon Circle child to grow in a quality environment where they are guided as they experiment, make mistakes and learn from them, discover, and find the happiness that comes from working, playing, and sharing with others.
We need to finish the fire sprinkler system required by the city of Dallas to be able to accommodate these children. We are trying to raise $25,000.
