Divorce + Government Shutdown Assistance
Donation protected
In August 2018 my wife of twelve years took our children on a trip back to her home in Missouri. She told me a month later she was leaving me and wanted a divorce. According to the state of Maryland, she had committed desertion and parental kidnapping. A lawyer was hired and divorce proceedings begun; then the government shutdown occurred, I was furloughed, and placed on no-pay status.
With the indications that the shutdown will last for a prolonged period of time, I am reaching out to friends, family, and others so interested to ask for help during this difficult time. My main goal is to cover basic living expenses and bills until the government shutdown is over. Thank you for any help you may wish to give.
