Disabled Wild Animal Enclosure Fund

Donation protected
I have had the privilege of working alongside amazing wildlife rescues. They are the first line in animal rescue, providing emergency care, rehabilitation and care until animals can be released. But there are cases where due to their injuries animals cannot be released. This means that animals are being put to sleep simply because they have no where to go. Animals in this position are at their most vulnerable and it is up to us to fill the gap between rescue and release and provide them with a safe place where they can live, love and thrive.  Often we find foxes with toxoplasmosis who have lost their fear of humans and so releasing them would be dangerous. Other times we have had foxes with limbs amputated and foxes who are blind to name but a few. These are the animals that need a safe place to live. I will raise funds to secure land and build non releasable fox enclosures that give plenty of room for these beautiful animals in woodland as close to their natural habitat as possible. These enclosures will be safe, made of steel mesh and will blend in to the surroundings. They will contain trees, artificial earths and areas where the foxes can drink, bathe and play I currently provide care for 2 disabled wild ravens, who against all the odds have found love with one another. Marla was found being attacked by magpies in Liverpool and Wilde was found emaciated in London both where picked up by concerned members of the public and taken to wildlife hospitals, after a lengthy stay they were checked by a vet and both had broken left wings. They could no longer survive in the wild so they were very close to being put to sleep. Through their injuries these 2 beautiful and intelligent birds from different parts of the country have fallen in love with each other and are now inseparable. This would not be possible if they had been destroyed simply because there was nowhere they could go. Think of all the other animals that are destroyed unnecessarily and never get to experience this bond of love. I will build enclosures to house more birds that would no longer survive without human care and give other birds the chance to live out their lives in peace safety. We will secure land and begin work on enclosures with funds raised. Every penny counts so if you can please give to our cause. from the animals that would not be here and from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
