Disabled Afghanistan Combat Vet

Donation protected

I am a single father, a loyal person with a big heart. I'm a patriot, a military combat veteran and a purple heart recipient. I raised two great kids with the help of My mother whom I am blessed to have. My son Alex, and My daughter Michelle. Alex  is now serving our country. He joined the Army seven months ago. My daughter Michelle who is at home with me is a community college student. She also has a very serious epileptic condition. resulting in many serious seizures. Because of this condition she is limited to many things in life. She has many medical needs and hospital bills that the V.A. won't cover.
I have served in both the Army & the Marine Corps, the Army Reserves, and the Army National Guard. I was act-ivated and deployed with the 82ND Airborne Division, Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. Off I went and proudly served my country. I was stationed in a remote forward operating base, (FOB), in Afghanistan, where we conducted missions on a daily basis.  During My combat deployment I received several injuries, some I did not bother to go to My medics for medical attention, I thought I was superman and could continue on. So I'm paying for them now. I received injuries to My mid-back, lower back, shoulders, right arm, both hips, hearing, vision, traumatic brain injury,  severe PTSD. I've had several surgeries, including hip replacements. I fought bladder cancer in 2017 just to have to go in again this year for the same thing, ( My bladder), I am very limited to many things that I used to enjoy because of My health. I am broke, coach surfing and soon to be homeles again.  I do not regret anything, If I could do it all over again, I would. If Uncle Sam gave me a chance to serve again with all these injuries I would happily do it, I really miss the military, and being over seas in Afghanistan. I received several decorations including a Purple Heart. I am here on this site trying to raise some money for all my bills, I am way behind them. and in serious debt. I have some maxed out credit cards and many other medical bills. We moved from a small house into an apartment that we are barely affording. We live in the Los Angeles area, so things are very expensive. Specially for someone like me that only counts with what the VA, and Social Security pay me. I am also in debt with the U.S. Army, they will not forgive My re-enlistment bonus. I owe them another $15,000.00 + $3,600.00 in interest. I can't even use my V.A. home loan because of that debt. I love California its our home but I can't afford a home hear and seems like I  never will. I do have a dream of having our own house someday, but that dream seems unreachable. Thank you to everyone for stopping by, Your donations are highly appreciated.
