DIASPORAL RHYTHMS Youth/ Community Art Programming
Tax deductible
Diasporal Rhythms is often referred to as “the little engine that could”. Every year brings new challenges and opportunities. The key is to be ready. This year we received a $35,000 grant from the Logan Foundation for the expansion of our youth art programs at the Dixon Elementary School and the M.L. King College Preparatory High School. $15,000.00 of the grant requires matching funds. We are excited to be well on our way with over $12,837 donated and would love to have you participate in our educational efforts. WE JUST NEED A LITTLE MORE TO REACH OR MATCHING GOAL!
Please help us meet our goal of raising the $15,000.00 matching grant. Your donation of $50.00/$100.00 /$200.00 will assist us in raising the additional funds for programming-
· To provide opportunities for professional artists to conduct workshops within the classroom
· To provide funding for supplies needed to support classroom workshops
· To provide funding to professional artists who participate in our Youth Art Programs
In appreciation for your support of Diasporal Rhythm’s Youth/Community Art Programming, we will give you a very nice T-Shirt with the Diasporal Rhythms logo. Please send your T-shirt size to us and we will send the shirt to the address you provide.
