Diana Louise (13 years old) is a talented Norwegian model and singer. Please consider supporting her on her journey to represent Norway in the World Championship of Performing Arts in Hollywood in 2018 where 60+ countries will be represented. Funds will go towards travel expenses, hotel, competition fees and mandatory wardrobe fees.
Dear family, friends and community members;
I am deeply honored to have been selected to represent my country, Norway, at the WCOPA 2018 (World Championship of Performing Arts) in Hollywood. Since I was a little girl I’ve dreamt of becoming a runway model and I have dedicated years of my life toward pursuing this dream. I believe that going to WCOPA 2018 will be the first major bridge toward that dream coming true!
I am writing to ask for your support for this truly special event I will be participating in on July 6 - July 15, 2018. By contributing you will help to fulfill the dream of a young girl who is determined to make a success in the field of modeling.
The World Championship of Performing Arts (WCOPA) exists for the purpose of creating a Olympic-style international meet for aspiring performers and entertainers and is held annually in the “Hollywood” area, entertainment capital of the world. There are over 200,000 applicants in this competition from over 60 countries each year, of which about 1500 are taken to represent their country in front of 100 judges from the entertainment industry.
Under the direction of Andrè Santagati and Kjetil Paulsen in Norway and Sweden, the contest includes the following categories of: Singing, dancing, acting, model, instrumental, groups / bands and various artistry. It is the only premiere international "Olympic - Style" Competition for performing arts with an emphasis on accurate professional "Hollywood" Entertainment industry education and experiences. In addition to being recognized as positive role models to younger generations across the nations, participants have the opportunity to win medals, scholarships and contracts in the entertainment industry. Reputable judges will be present throughout the competition. There are also manufacturers, agents, management, etc. who will follow the competition. This can allow participants to get profiled.
In addition, WCOPA provides half a million dollars in total scholarships. Of this, each participant has the opportunity to win between 2000 and 30000 US dollars and a possibility to be offered a contract. Participants will attend industry hits and will meet people from the world's largest entertainment industry in Hollywood. There will be large casting agencies, agents, model agencies, film industry, music industry, etc.
WCOPA has previously collaborated with America's Got Talent and Circus Solel seeking talent among the participants. Participants will attend boot camps in both the United States and Scandinavia where they will work together with professional reputable coaches in the industry. They will get an opportunity to experience Hollywood together with other talents from Scandinavia and the rest of the world, sightseeing in Los Angeles, surprises and networking.
As a rising junior and the first of my siblings to pursue a career in fashion and entertainment, I have come to understand the importance of positive role models. I aspire to share my story on an international level to encourage girls across the globe to aspire and achieve all that they dream. With your help, I know we can make this a reality! I hope you will consider supporting my quest to be a part of the 2018 World Championship of Performing Arts.
What We Need & What You Get
As part of my participation in this World Championship, I need to secure sponsors. Any amount would be greatly appreciated!
Participating in the WCOPA is a really costly venture. Especially since in Norway I have to travel to the other side of the world! For me to be able to embark on this once in a lifetime opportunity, I will need at least $6000 = NOK 50000 in total in funding. Any extra funding I receive beyond this point will still be greatly appreciated and will go towards my costumes and props, as well as any classes I make take in preparation for the event.
Any organizations or businesses who sponsor me will have their brand name and logo displayed on my WCOPA profile and will receive National and International coverage.
The Impact
By going on this journey, not only will I have an incredible experience and grow as a model as well as a person, but also have the opportunity to get exposed to the Hollywood industry and be able to meet and engage with a network of people. There is a an opportunity to get a contract and the WCOPA also gives out hundreds of dollars worth in scholarships.
