So many who have heard Paxton's story have reached out, anxious to support this amazing little boy and his wonderful family. Paxton spent his 3rd birthday in surgery to remove a brain tumor after being medevaced from Anchorage, AK, to The Children's Hospital in Colorado. The lengthy surgery was just the first step on his healing journey which will continue in Colorado for some time. As his parents Jackie and Justin Swackhamer work out the details of their new reality, they have immediate and long term decisions and expenses, in addition to medical concerns for Paxton. Everybody who loves this family has been looking for a way to help. Although they are reluctant to accept financial help, we all know they have been uprooted from their homes and lives.
