DFWAuditions.com Growth Fund

Hi, I’m Art Kedzierski, an enterprise software and database developer by day, and an actor by night. In the summer of 2011, I returned to the stage after a 20-year hiatus. I quickly found that, although there were a number of local websites that posted audition notices, the listings frequently were out-of-date, incomplete, poorly formatted, or inconsistently delivered.
To remedy that, in January 2014, I launched DFWAuditions.com, a community-sourced website dedicated solely to audition notices with up-to-date, well-formed, on-demand, and mobile-ready listings.
Since then, with increasing public interest and the continued participation of countless theatres across the Metroplex, DFWAuditions.com has become a success beyond my wildest dreams. The website sees more than 4,000 unique views a week, and cross-listing on our Facebook and Twitter pages extends the reach even further.
I’m ready to take the site to the next logical stage, but I need your help. Since its inception, I have operated DFWAuditions.com out of my own pocket. In February of this year, however, I was laid off from my 20+ year career in the telecom industry, and finding a new position is taking longer than expected. Your donation will help me continue to operate DFWAuditions.com and, hopefully, grow what was once a hobby into a full-time business, allowing me to (among other things):
· Renew and maintain domain and web hosting services,
· Expand into additional metropolitan theatre regions,
· Improve speed and performance with technology updates, and
· Form a limited liability corporation to meet accounting and regulatory requirements.
Whether you are an actor or director, a managing or artistic director, or a patron of the arts, with your support, I can reach my goal and bring timely and comprehensive audition listings to more performers than ever! Won’t you please help?
