Baby Jayce

On St Patrick's day of this year, my family was blessed to welcome another beautiful addition.  My sister Jaimie and her fiance Stephen brought my nephew, Jayce, into this world.   Jayce was born with bi-lateral club foot which is genetic and if not treated correctly, will leave my nephew unable to walk.  Although we knew a long road was ahead, we had no idea this beautiful family would run into so many obstacles.  Jayce's first doctor, unfortunately, made his condition worse and Jayce was then taken in to Shriners Hospital.  They were absolutely amazing! From the Doctors, to Nurses, to all of the staff- just incredible.  Unfortunately, once again, we were given heartbreaking news that the Doctors needed to admit to defeat as Jayce's feet are just to hard for them to treat. After living his first 4 months of life in thigh high casts and dealing with the discomfort and pain, we're back to square one.  Now the family is off to Missouri for Jayce to be treated at St. Louis Children's Hospital, but their insurance will not cover out of state care for my nephew.  In addition to the $5,000 medical cost for casting and surgery, my sister and her fiance will be in Ohio for a month, out of work, and will also incur airfare, hotel, food, and rental car fees while their other 3 children stay here with family.  Anything donated will go directly to Jayce's medical fees and helping Jaimie and Stephen stay financially above water with all of these expenses.  Jayce is scheduled to be admitted for his first casting next Friday, so this is a 911.  Thank you for reading my story and thank you in advance for any help you can provide my sister and her family for baby Jayce.
