Dexters plea

This is my best friend Dexter! He's had a tough couple of weeks and we need some to help to clear his vet bills.
He likes his food ALOT and ate a bbq skewer on the sly and had to have surgery to remove it which was bad enough but during his recovery period it was highlighted that his usual medication was hiding the symptoms of something more serious which meant a MRI at a referral vets and now 100% bed rest and a long period of no walking running playing in order to repair the damage to his spine not to mention all the follow up appointments. He will hopefully make a good recovery.
We would have preferred to have the surgery to quick fix him but we cant afford it - well we cant afford whats already happened - so we ask for some help from you - just a few £'s if you can so we can clear our vet bills would be a massive help so when it comes to his rehabilitation treatment we can get him back to doing all the things we love to do.
our insurance only covers £1000 and our bill is in excess of £4000.
We are reaching out to all our friends and family and dog lovers who appreciate just how much Dexter and I mean to each other and that we are not ready to be split up - till death us do part but not yet!
