Dewey and Family need our prayer and support!

Last month, Dewey started seeing double. When there was just one car in front of him, he saw two. This prompted him to visit the eye doctor, who ultimately sent him to a neurologist. Several MRIs and consults later, a neurosurgeon diagnosed him with a brain tumor. The neurosurgeon and his team believe it is a very rare, cancerous tumor that only one in a million people ever develop.
Right now, the treatment plan involves surgery to remove the brain tumor and six weeks of radiation therapy to ensure the tumor is gone. The surgery itself will be very expensive, not to mention the radiation therapy, additional tests, appointments, and trips to and from hospitals out of state. Dewey may not be able to work for weeks or months following the surgery because he will be very tired and will need to go to radiation therapy five days per week.
This is a very scary and trying time for the Landon family. There are two main things we can do to help. One, pray. We believe in the power of prayer and that God is sovereign over everything. Pray for full and permanent healing for Dewey. Pray for wisdom and excellence for the surgeons and medical staff. Pray for peace and provision for Dewey and his family. Two, support and bless the family with donations to pay for medical costs.
Dewey teaches junior high/high school and coaches varsity boys’ soccer at The Pilgrim Academy, a Christian school in Galloway, NJ. He also runs his own desktop publishing business, which has been very difficult these days considering his impaired vision. He attends Grace Calvary Church and is a faithful man of God. Dewey has blessed many people by planning fun events, teaching the next generation how to follow Christ, serving as a listening ear, and modeling a life of service and love for others. Now it’s our turn to bless him. Please help us support this beloved husband, father, brother, son, teacher, coach, coworker, friend, and brother in Christ.
