Devastating apt.fire

My partner and I had a devastating fire in our apartment on Wednesday night. We lost everything we own other than the close on our backs. My partner was at work and I was watching TV and I heard a strange noise coming from the closet. I open the closet only to see it engulfed in flames. I managed to get my one dog Snoopy out the door and then proceeded to call and scream for my other dog peanut. Both dogs are miniature chihuahuas. When I realize she had crawledunder the bed .I crawled under and pulled her out. By the time I stood up my entire apartment was engulfed in flames. Including the front door. I put her under my shirt and made a run for it. A lady driving by saw me running out to the street with my dogs. She took them into her car as I tried to go back into get my birds. I was unable to do so. Sadly to say they perished in the fire. Thursday morning once we settled in the hotel I went to the er. Only to be told I suffered a fractured shin and a couple of broken toes. I also have burns and cuts up and down my legs and arms. I have realized that it could have been alot worse and thank God for protecting us.
It all happened so quick. The fire department arrived very quickly with 3 trucks. However, they were unable to save the building. The red Cross arrived and generously gave us a voucher for a three night stay in a hotel. I finally found one that accepted dogs . Although both my partner and I both work, we can't afford to stay in this hotel for very long.
We are now desperately searching for an apart in the vicinity of our jobs.
We have some, but very little money in savings and and now I am trying to get assistance for first last and security to relocate. Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated in our time of need. I've never been through anything like this before and certainly never have been in a situation where we've had to ask for outside assistance. But this is a first for us and where really not sure what else to do.
