Desperate for Duchess

Meet Duchess. I bought Duchess from the racetrack at the end of August 2018. She was fairly thin when I brought her home. Since then, we have been pouring money into her doing whatever we can to get her healthy, fat and happy. My plan was to train her and go to Kentucky in October of 2019 for the Retired Racehorse Project. I will be competing against 400 + competitors, each competing in different disciplines. If you’ve been following my Facebook, you would know she’s been in the hospital for these past few days after a bad colic and an impaction the size of 3 basketballs. She will remain in the hospital for the next few days while she continues to get fluids and a tube in her stomach so they can pump warm water and epsom salt in her stomach. The only way they will continue giving her fluids is if I make a payment in full in which I can’t do at this time. I hate posting asking for money but I feel like this is my only chance to save my girl. This horse means the world to me and if your kids or animals were sick I know you would want them better. Duchess is colicing and if you don’t know what that is, it can be life threatening. Please even if it’s $5 any dime helps!! I’m desperate for my girl ❤️
