Derryn's campaign for Young Minds Trust

Sponsor a bungee jump off Killiecrankie bridge for Young Minds Trust, because their cause is very important and personal to me. Young Minds is a charity that raises awareness for mental illness in children and teens and support, training and help to those who need it. I feel that Young Minds cause is a very important and underrated one. Did you know that on average 3 kids in every classroom face a mental health issue, and that 75% of young people with a mental illness are not receiving treatment. These are crucial issues that we as society have to fix.  We as teenagers know the struggles people face and most go through it alone, we want everyone to be educated on this subject and gets the help and support they need. I have chosen to do a bungee jump as I have a phobia of heights. I feel that if young people with mental illnesses are forced to face their fears then I will as well.  I will be completing the bungee jump at Killiecrankie on 15 June 2019.  Any small amount of money would be amazing as it would go to an outstanding cause, and help to give our youth the childhood they need and deserve.
