Dermot Sadlier Memorial - St Anne's

Dermot (aka Derry aka Derek...depending on who you speak to) was a wonderful man with many skills and talents. He had the Irish charm and was able to put people at ease with his intelligent conversations, good sense of humour and attention to details.  He lived life to the fullest and had many passions throughout his life, music being a massive one. Words cannot express how much he will missed by friends and family.

Everyone who met Dermot will agree that the last 7 weeks of his life were wonderful. He was the happiest he had been in a long time and he was at peace. He felt loved and well cared for with amazing and supportive people surrounding him. He couldn't believe his luck getting a room at St Anne's home and couldn't praise them enough for all they did for him. It is a wonderful facility with great food, activities and lovely people who work/serve there.  St Annes's home is what all homes should be like. We can not express out gratitude enough for the love they showed Dermot. This home is the epitome of what Christlike love is all about.

As a result he wished that instead of flowers, donations be made to them instead.
