Derek and May Evans Home Fire

I took the following from my brother in laws, Mike, FB post...... "At approx 12pm, Monday, December 19th, my in laws home in Hoene Springs caught fire. They had frozen pipes that were being defrosted which started a fire under the house. Fortunately Chrissy was there and pulled both parents out and the dogs. She fought to get to the last one (Barney) but unfortunately could not break through the smoke. My mother in law is also a dog sitter in her home. All dogs she was watching are safe and currently at our home (in case you are of customer of hers). Chrissy has a minor burn and inhaled some smoke but is okay after being checked by the EMTs. It was a three alarm fire with three fire districts and 9 fire trucks. Early indications are that it is a total loss. I have spoken to the agent and meeting the adjuster tomorrow. It appears their insurance is good but they will have to replace everything including the home is an early guess."
People have been asking how they can help and have specifically asked if we have a "go find me account" set up. So we set this up for those who would like to Help them start over by giving. Most of all we covet your prayers as this is a really tough time for them. They lost their "fur baby" and both my parents deal with memory issues. My sister, Chrissy, and brother -in-law, Mike, are amazing and have been handling everything from my parents health, housing them, clothing them, feeding them, taking them to doctors spots and dealing with relentless insurance issues and all that's yet to come! Please keep them in your prayers for strength and encouragement!! Also, let's not forget Madi, Mike and Chrissy's 12 year old precious daughter, who has graciously given up her bed and sleeps on the floor. I love you guys so much and appreciate you more than you could know!!
