Denise Manning's Funeral Expenses

Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that we share our sister Denise Manning suddenly passed away and we need financial help to cover funeral expenses.

When death occurs naturally, it can be hard enough. When there is tragedy connected with it, when it is inexplicable and sudden, it produces endless layers of grief and confusion.

Our sister Denise was caring, smart and funny. She loved her nieces and nephews, loved to bake cookies and loved teaching. Denise was a member of Second Baptist Church where she taught vacation bible school and worked with youth. Denise is a graduate from Duncan Polytechnical High School, Class of 2005 and a graduate from Sacramento State University, with a degree in Biology.

It is profoundly painful to use the word suicide, and we deliberated leaving that fact out of our ask. But the truth, we feel, is needed. It has been a tragic week for our family and many Americans that heard about the recent tragedies of suicide in the news.

Please contribute to support our sister's funeral expenses. Truly, we will appreciate any donation.

In closing, if you need support – it is available. Please reach out. One conversation might change the course of a life. Suicide is far more prevalent than public conversation would have us know. Please also share this number widely: Suicide Hotline: 1-800-273-8255.

With many thanks, The Manning Sisters and parents, Jacqueline Williams and Richard Manning, Sr.
