It is with profound sadness we announce the death of Denise Michelle Armbruster, wife, daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Denise was 48 years old.
Denise died suddenly and unexpectedly of a heart attack in the early morning hours of December 30th 2018 leaving her partner of 22 years, Mike, and her two daughters, Olivia (15) and Dixie (10).
Denise had a kind and generous heart and selflessly volunteered her time at her daughter's school, Harbour View Elementary, in Coquitlam.
She drove on every single field trip with her children's teacher, shopped for and ran the hot lunch program, always attended shared reading in the classroom and was at school every Friday to help with art class.
Always putting others first Denise brought joy and love to everyone she met and will be missed beyond words.
My name is Juliette Busch, and I am from Vancouver, Canada. Denise Armbruster is my aunt, sister to my mother. Funds will be used to cover the funeral expenses, lawyer fees (there was no will), celebration of life, and the rest will be split and deposited in trust to her two daughters. Funds will be distributed to my mother (Denise's sister) who has covered all the expenses so far and the rest will be given to Denise's husband, Michael, to cover the other bills and then deposited to his daughters accounts at VanCity Savings Credit Union.
The family wishes to extend their thanks and gratitude for all donations and kind words at this difficult time.
