Salutations Delta Sugar Enthusiasts!
Come sit down in my virtual office for all things exclusive to the making of the next Samantha Martin & Delta Sugar record! It has been a busy couple years since “Send The Nightingale” came out, and I feel an immense wave of gratitude for all the beautiful souls that we have been able to meet and perform for.
The record is recorded, mixed and mastered! This is a very big sounding record, with a very awesome band. The album was Produced by Darcy Yates, Engineered by Aaron Goldstien at Baldwin Sound, Mixed by Stew Crookes, and Mastered by Peter J. Moore. Studio musicians are: Sherie Marshall (vocals), Mwansa Mwansa (vocals), Dani Nash (drums, vocals, percussion), Darcy Yates (bass), Michael McCallum (guitar), Curtis Chaffey (guitar), Steve Marriner (Keys), Shamus Currie (Trombone), Andrew Moljgun (Sax), Tom Moffatt (Trumpet), and Bam Kidd (Congas).
As a thank you for pre-ordering the album so early on, all pre-ordered albums will auto-magic-ally receive a digital download of the single before anyone else! You will also gain access to behind the scenes clips, photos, and posts about the making of the record from start to finish, I’ll introduce you to the musicians, and share a few stories from the road this summer via email! For as little as $5 for a digital download you can join the fun!
We have exceeded the goal for the recording, and anything over and above the $10K that was used to make the recording, I am putting towards the expenses associated with competing/showcasing at The International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN (Jan. 16-21st 2018).
