Defend Jamie's Eggs Against Cancer!
Donation protected
Jamie is 27 years old and currently undergoing treatment for ovarian cancer. She had surgery in March to remove a large tumor that had attached to her uterus, ovary, bladder and colon. Jamie is recovering well from her surgery, but is now preparing to start hormone therapy, since the type of cancer she has is resistant to chemotherapy. Jamie's doctors have informed her that, due to the type and location of her tumor, the cancer will return later on. When it returns, Jamie is likely going to need to have her ovaries and uterus removed to preserve her health. She has the option of freezing some of her eggs now to aid in future family planning, but this is an expensive process. She could really use some help achieving this goal so she has the possibility of having biological children when she is ready and able. Jamie is required to pay in advance to start fertility treatments, and it's important for her to do this now, since it is unknown how the hormone treatments will affect her egg quality over time. Any amount you can share will be greatly appreciated.
