Kids book - proceeds to charity

I have written a story for kids between the ages of 3-6. The inspiration comes from my 3 year old daughter Ila.
What started off as a personal project has grown ambition to support education of under privileged kids. 100% profits from the sales of the book will go to a school - Mercy of God - in a place called Dehradun in India.

The school is run by a young couple who are struggling to make ends meet and they have sacrificed their live towards the service of the poor.

The story is about a little girl Deepa who lives close to Corbett National Park. Corbett National Park situated in the foothills of the Himalayas and is one of India's most beautiful wildlife areas.

This story has been mainly written inflight when commuting between San Francisco and Chicago, which I frequently do for work. For this I am thankful to United Airlines.

The contrubutions are to support self publishing this book, the sales of which will cover items such as provision of school uniform, books, bag, shoes, writing materials and other essentials that are needed for a child to attend school.

For now I have identified Author House to help publish. Illustrations and the marketing are the biggest investment costs.
