DeeDee's International Golf Trip

Hello generous people of the world!
My name is DeeDee Russell, I am 20 years old, and I am an elite Australian women's amatuer golfer. I am currently ranked amongst the top 10 Australian Women's Open Amateur players and I am currently (as of April 4th) positioned 727th in the World Amatuer Golf Rankings. Ever since I was a little girl my dream has been to become one of the best female golf athletes in the world. It is my intention to pursue a professional golf career within the next 12-24 months.
In order to pursue my goal, one of the stepping stones is to be able to travel and play internationally as an elite amatuer golfer. Not only will this open the door to competing against a larger pool of competition but it will be a huge chunk of experience to put in my 'experience bank' as I grow and develop my golf career.
The world's golfing schedule seems to continue to chase the summer seasons in each country (quite an awesome thing actually). So, while the tournaments conclude for Australia's so called 'winter', my plan is to play in the United Kingdom and the United States of America during their summer!
I have choosen the events listed below to positively impact my world ranking over the next few months. Many of the world's top amatuer women players will be also playing in these events - this will provide the opportunity to place myself amongst a world class field.
This is the plan:
*St Rule Trophy, 3rd-4th June; St Andrews Golf Club - Scotland
*The Astor Salver, 7th June; The Berkshire Golf Club - Ascot, UK
*British Amateur, 13th-17th June; Pyle & Kenfig - Wales, UK
*US Amateur qualifier, 6th July; Bermuda Run Country Club - Advance, NC
*115th North & South Women's Amateur, 9th-14th July; Pinehurst No. 2 - Pinehurst, NC
*Canadian Women's Amateur, 24th-28th July; Cutten Fields Golf Club - Guelph, ON
*116th US Women's Amateur, 7th-13th August; San diego Country Club - Chula Vista, CA
For a brief introduction of myself;
I have been a member of the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) Golf team since the beginning of 2016. This program has helped me develop in every aspect of my game in light of building a professional career for myself. I have been receiving coaching from Josh Smith (Australian Golf Schools/Emerald Lakes Golf Club) since I was 14 years old. And I have been playing golf since my dad put a golf club in my hand at the age of six!
Additionally, in the last 14 months I have received a significant amount of support from Brisbane Golf Club (home club) and Emerald Lakes Golf Club. Both courses provide me with fantastic facilities to continue improving my game.
My support team being QAS, my coach Josh, and close family and friends, have had a significant contribution to my recent success and will continue to positively impact my achievements throughout 2017 in clarifying the decisions I need to make for my future.
After juggling both university and golf for the past 3 years, I recently chose to defer my degree of Mechanical Engineering for the year of 2017 to pursue my professional golf career. As a consequence I am planning a very exciting year of golf ahead!
So, I am kindly asking for any support you can provide in helping me make this trip a reality! These funds would help me pay for flights, entry fees into tournaments, accommodation in certain places and much more!
I would like to personally thank everyone in advance for your support no matter how small or big. This will be my first international trip as an Australian amateur golfer and I am very excited to have the opportunity to do it this year. I will do my best to make all of you proud.
