Decomag.co.uk is an online blog about eco friendly homes and interiors. We cover a wide range of topics - from the benefits of organic cotton and FSC timber to upcycling, recycling and self-build, with lots of shopping features, gift ideas for Christmas and weddings, profiles of fascinating people, decorating case studies, event previews, lashings of art and craft, new product launches and competitions and special offers. We look at things from an eco angle but we're not rabid tree huggers at all. Rather we're about encouraging everyone to think about the environment and ethical issues when making choices for their home along with all the other considerations.

We've had a lot of people asking if there's going to be a print edition and we would love to produce one  - a beautiful high quality A4 size bi-monthly print edition for distribution around the UK.  We've designed one - you can see the cover below - and we think it looks great and will have broad appeal. But producing printed magazines is very expensive so we need to raise a start-up fund to  pay for advertising sales staff, graphic design, photography, writers and distribution.

Our plan is that after three issues this year we will be in a position to self-fund through display ads and a competitive cover price. So if you're someone who loves your home and cares about the environment, we'd be immensely grateful if you can spare a bit of money to get Deco print magazine off to a flying start. We would like to raise the money as soon as possible so we can have an issue ready for July. And as a patron, you'll receive every issue of Deco free of charge. Thank you, Abby.
