On September 29th Christian women traveled from all across the United States with unified purpose. They were answering a call to AWAKE, ARISE and ADVANCE. Be Deborah! This message and mandate were birthed in the heart of Pastor Diane Mullins, of Hamilton, Ohio over three years ago, in 2015. The mission was and is, to voice the sound of healing freedom to women suffering wounds, inflicted by the issues and culture of the current day.

These women, of all ages, arrived in Washington D.C. to establish to all who would hear, that there is another voice that resounds through their hearts and lives carrying life and hope. It is a God given voice that publishes the principles of integrity, the sanctity of life, and the importance of faith and cohesive families.

These women spoke, with steadfast, impactful tone to the issues of our day. Their words gave truth that drew thousands of people, asking who is Deborah? What is Deborah’s voice?

The day opened with the sound of a Shofar calling the assembly together. The man playing the clear sound was Dr. Tom Refro. He had been given a death sentence of cancer, stage 4. Yet there he stood, completely healed and whole. The National Anthem then broke through to touch the bluest of skies, drawing some of the U.S.A's strongest patriots, Honor Flight Veterans, to hear America’s Song again.

Drama teams, with young people joyfully danced to the the songs of the Lord, their dances illustrating broken chains and restored lives.

Throughout this mandated day, speakers came one by one, each addressing issues that represent a crumbling society. In unison their lives and voices shout, NOT ON OUR WATCH! These women have experienced those issues, first hand. They intend to do their part to rid our country and our of them.

As Dr. Marlene Carson shared openly about being taken into human trafficking at age fifteen and kept there for fifteen years, people drew closer. She lived it and she is free from it! She states that she has been bought by people who we have bought tickets to see and some that we have voted for.

Terry Beatley, from Hosea's Inititive came to relay a message, the real truth about abortion, straight from the mouth of the father of abortion himself, Bernard Nathanson.

Gigi Graham, the eldest daughter of Dr. Billy Graham, America’s Pastor spoke of the importance of family and passing the love, power and ability of Jesus Christ forward into the next generation, by living an appetizing kind of faith that will appeal and not repel.

As Michelle McClain Walters spoke, two women, just passing by on scooters with no intention of stopping, came to a member in the crowd to find out what this was all about. Is this a protest, they asked? As they began to understand that the mission was one of healing for women and realized who Deborah was, they shared that they were drawn in because they couldn’t disagree with the truth they were hearing.

As Pastor Diane closed the meeting , sharing her own story of the loss of her Pastor father and two brothers in a crash, on a flight that she was also scheduled to be on, women came forward for prayer and help for their own damaged hearts.

Was there resistance to this mandate? More than you can imagine. Was there opposition? Not the kind you see in a loud, ugly way, but yes!

The mandate of God was not aborted. Pastor Diane, her husband Pastor Jim Mullins, and thousands of women, other men, psalmists and those with hearts to serve were there to let their voice be heard. Many were present that day at the Lincoln Memorial, many at home on their faces, praying over the event. Thousands were drawn, to the voice of truth. Their cadence was not broken. The hindering strategies fell as truth arose.

Their voices were not silenced, nor will they be. Like Deborah, they will continue run to the battle, carrying the vision, at the call of their King. His name is Jesus.
