Deborah and Her Road to Recovery!

Donation protected
On the afternoon of Sunday, July 15th Deborah Rogers was in a head on collision after making a return trip from Spokane, Washington.  We are extremely thankful that Deborah is alive and able to recover from such a horrible accident.  She has gone through many surgeries to fix a broken femur, a broken arm in 6 places, and a broken foot in 2 places, leaving her right arm as the only limb to use at this point.  She has been in the hospital this whole time in good spirits and has a positive mindset towards healing.

At some point soon, the hope is to transport her to a life care center for her to be looked after until she has been given permission to do physical therapy.  Once she has been given the okay to do 3 hours of physical therapy a day, she then can be transferred to a physical therapy center. This center is the best possible place to allow for proper healing, strength, and care that she needs!  The care she needs will be so important to the road to recovery. With Deborah not being able to do anything weight bearing on either of her legs for at least 3 months, we just don’t know how long this road will be.

Deborah has always made family a priority.  She is a lover of all animals just as much as people.  She is hard working, caring, loyal, and passionate at what she does.  Deborah has always been the person to stop what she is doing to help someone in need.  She has been in the pet grooming business for 41 years with 29 of those years in Troy, Montana where she has been living.  She has been an animal control officer, an avid bowler, involved in the school setting, and largely active in the horse community.

As much as Deborah would like to handle things by taking care of herself with the help of family, she is in need of additional help.  With this unforeseen accident she does not have the means to pay for the extra care needed, bills without being able to work, and additional costs associated with what will be needed back home.  Our hope is that we can get her to stay as long as needed in a recovery facility to allow for proper healing and strength building without all the worries of everything else. If you can help in any way towards Deborah’s healing process she and her family would greatly appreciate it!  We want to thank you all for your kind words, help, thoughts, and prayers during this time! God Bless!
