Debbie’s Leg Amputation
Donation protected
It has been a rough two weeks at Muncie Animal Care and Services. We have taken in 3 cats and 1 kitten with severe injuries. This is Debbie’s story. Debbie entered the shelter on 10/2/18 as a stray. She came in with a severe injury to her right leg. After being immediately rushed to the vet it was determined she was hit by a car or some type of other similar trauma recently. The nerves are severed and is infected clear up past her shoulder blade. Debbie needs to have her leg amputated immediately to avoid becoming septic. She is scheduled for surgery on Monday. Please help us save this sweet girl! Debbie is a beautiful calico with a wonderful personality! Once she has recovered she will be available for adoption. Thank you to our amazing community for the continued support!
