Debbie's Medical Expenses

$5,430 of $5,000 goal

Raised by 60 people in 15 months
Debbie Montgomery has been diagnosed with spindle cell neoplasm, a rare sarcoma cancer of the connective tissue. It was found in the large tumor that is in her chest cavity. Currently she is receiving medical care in Waco. She has good insurance, but we (Amy and Jennifer) are hoping that she will not have to pay any of her out-of-pocket expenses or incidental needs that arise.

As many of you know, she is a servant-hearted woman who gives of herself whenever there's a need. Now is our chance to give back to her through our prayers and financial support. This is a great opportunity to experience true religion as God sees it: "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." (James 1:27) She was widowed at 39, never remarried, and raised us girls on her own. Together, with so many others she has blessed, we count it a privilege to look after her during this journey ahead.

Please feel free to share her link with everyone.

We look forward to reporting good things along the way in this journey! We expect a miracle!

Hello friends and family, we are sad to share the news that our mom passed away Saturday afternoon. For every thought, prayer, and love expressed, we will be forever grateful. We grieve with hope, because we know she is with Jesus. Please join us for her life celebration at GW Cox Funeral Home, Tuesday evening from 5 to 8, and Wednesday afternoon at 2 pm at Grace Church on King's Highway, Del Rio.

Hello friends,

We are starting another round of believing for a miracle. The tumor unfortunately did not shrink, but grew. We place all of our hope in Jesus, and onward we go.

We'll keep you updated on what's next. We could never thank y'all enough for your love and support!

We are headed to MD Anderson so my mom can have a CT scan to see how much the tumor has shrunk. It will be an uncomfortable trip all around, because she is generally uncomfortable and somewhat miserable most of the time. With her though, there's no complaining. She is so inspiring. Jennifer and I want to be like her when we grow up! ☺️

“With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Matthew 19:26

A million thanks for your love, prayer and generous support!
