It is extremely sad for me to have to be the family representative taking on this task. I am setting up this Go Fund me account to help with funeral costs for my sister Debbie Kay (Dilkey) Oskin. .
Most of you know that for the past several years, Debbie has been fighting a very long and difficult battle with her health. She had numerous emergency surgeries on her back, spine and neck. She’s battled infection after infection. She’s had seizures and a major brain bleed which resulted in brain surgery. She fought the battle relentlessly and ALWAYS smiled throughout the horrible days of the recovery process. On Friday, October 11, 2019, Debbie’s body failed to be able to continue the fight and she passed away.
My sister Debbie was a kind and beautiful person inside and out. Her smile and laugh were contagious. Debbie’s smile would light up a room even if it was pitch black to begin with. You could not be near her without a smile coming across your face. She was generous, loving and caring. She would give the shirt off her back if she thought you needed it more than she did. She loved to have fun! It didn’t matter if you were just hanging out at a fire pit, camping, watching a movie, walking the beach or playing with the little ones, etc. She made everything fun. She had a heart of gold.
We all know that anyone who knew Debbie was considered family. I have to ask for a little bit of help with the financial burden of the funeral expenses as she did not have life insurance. If you are able to contribute, no amount would be too small.
She loved all of you friends and family.
Please be as generous as Debbie was.
On behalf of Debbie's family, THANK YOU
