Dean's YWAM Missions trip

Hi everyone!

My name is Dean, i'm 20 years old, and I live in Melbourne Australia.

I am going on a 6 Month trip overseas to learn more about the Lord, and more importantly, to make him known throughout the nations!

I have been accepted to do an "Arise" (revivalist theme) DTS with a global missions organisation called YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in Kansas City, United States. {Starting on JULY 7th - DECEMBER 15th 2017}

During my 6 Month DTS:

the first 3 Months is called "Lecture Phase" where we will be on base in Kansas, doing intense weekely classes - learning about Jesus and how we can walk in the fullness that he has intended for us. Whilst having weekly classes, we will also be doing a lot of local outreach to the people of Kansas/Missouri, sharing the gospel with them and seeing miracles on the street, whilst also being linked to serving at a local church (which in our case with be IHOP KC, or the International House of Prayer - Kansas City).

Then once we've finished learning about Jesus for 3 Months in Kansas, we then spend the next 3 Months of the DTS taking the gospel to the nations on our "Outreach Phase". During outreach phase we will be overseas (mostly in areas such as South America, Africa, Malaysia, etc.) sharing the gospel and spreading the love of Jesus where ever we go. Where we're going is kept a surprise until 4 weeks into out DTS, but looking at past groups; some have led gospel crusades in africa, have backpacked bibles through remote villages in china/himalayas, and have gone and evangelised in the slums of South America and Malaysia. Everyone deserves the right to hear the gospel, and we will travel to the places that no one else will to make that happen.

I am so, so, so Excited & Expectant for this next seaon of my walk with the Lord, and how much I will grow as an individual through it! and the impact that I will have on so many people from all across the world through my time with YWAM!

So, with all that being said...I can't get there without you guys! My DTS will cost me around $10k  ..And being a classic poor uni student, who's now left studying to follow the Lord completely into the unknown, I need all the finiancial help I can get.

COSTS:

- Flights return to the US from Australia = $2000

- Lecture Phase (first 3 months, which includes board accommodation, food, classes, utensiles, etc.) = $3000

- Outreach Phase (second 3 months, which includes Flights, accommodation, food, etc) = 5000

Every little bit makes a difference, whether it's $10 or $100 it all goes a long way!

So please preayerfully consider getting behind my trip and directly having a hand in my personal walk with the Lord, whilst directly helping people from all over the world have a chance to hear the message of God through my YWAM trip and the rest of my team! Our goal is to see souls saved for the Kingdom of God! And to think that I (and you through supporting me) can play a role in changing someones eternal destination, means the world to me! 

To be completley honest,

I have no idea how it's going to happen, but I have faith that the Lord will provide! As I have stepped out of my comfort zone in faith and obedience.
