Dean Plakas Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Dean Plakas died suddenly on the evening of December 7, 2016, two short days prior to marrying the love of his life Amie Secor Phillips.
He was a longtime owner of Newest Lunch on Albany Street and more recently Co-owner with Amie, of Peter Pause Restaurant on Nott Street, both in Schenectady.
Dean was known for his generous giving nature, always the care taker, always willing to drop everything to do what ever necessary to assist family members, friends and others in his community.
His tragic passing has left his family with multiple large expenses that will need to be quickly covered as they go on with their lives without Dean.
The Phillips & Plakas families could greatly use your generosity to assist in paying for Deans unexpected funeral costs and for the wedding that was to have taken place on Friday December 9, 2016.
Dean was a tremendously caring man who touched the lives of all around him. His passing has left a tremendous void and much uncertainty in the lives of the family he left behind.
Please help the Phillips/Plakas family at this extremely difficult time with a donation of any amount you can afford.
Dean greatly loved all the people in his life, please return the love to his family that he gave so freely.
Family Reflects on the Death of Dean Plakas
We are hoping to quickly raise $15,000 - $20,000 to assist Amie Phillips in this time of grief to cover these expenses as she struggles to get on with her life and carry on Deans legacy.
Amie will be solely in charge of any/all donations you contribute.
THANK YOU!!
