Anthony De Luchi is a 31 year old male recently diagnosed with epilepsy.
Anthony is a dedicated father of 3 beautiful children and loving husband to his very supportive wife Kimberley.
Anthony has been in and out of hospital over for the past year to try and get to the bottom of his condition. He experienced heavy breathing, chest pains, nausea and passing out. The doctors were convinced he had a heart condition for a long time and was exposed to various tests to confirm or deny weather he had an underlying heart condition. The tests all showed that his heart was fine and Doctors were unable to help him further.
Anthony is a Painter and has started his own business, building a reputation for himself as a quality painter. Around Three months ago Anthony collapsed while working on a ladder and subsequently fractured his T3 & T2 vertebrae. An Ambulance took Anthony to Royal Brisbane Hospital where he was treated for his injury. The cause of him fainting was still a mystery and Anthony was exposed to further testing. The RBH requested Anthony’s medical file from another Hospital, he underwent further testing and has since been diagnosed with Epilepsy.
Anthony’s Driver’s license was removed from him immediately, he is unable to be left at home alone with his children and is unable to work due to the frequent seizures he has.
Anthony is still trying to get a result from his medication to control his seizures. He started trials in February and is still experiencing regular seizures. This is a trial and error for the balance of the correct meds. This has put financial stress on them. Anthony’s wife Kimberly has been doing as much as she can to support them but everyday stresses with running a household as well as caring for their children as their children are too young to be left at home alone with Anthony.
We ask kindly that friends, family, and anyone with a carrying heart might find a little spare cash to be able to donate to this struggling family. Anthony is a good man who wants nothing more than to provide for his family. This obstacle in life has really taken its toll on the whole family. Anything at all would be very much appreciated and would mean the world to these guys.
