Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is one of the largest and most advanced behavioral healthcare organizations in the country. We were founded in 1912 by one of the first pioneers in the field, Helena Devereux. We are a national nonprofit partner for individuals, families, schools and communities, serving many of the most vulnerable members of our society in areas of autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, specialty mental health, and child welfare.

Today, Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Arizona serves more than 4,000 individuals annually, across the state. Programs include Residential Treatment Centers, Day School, Outpatient Services, Prevention Programs, Respite, Short-term Residential Treatment, Adult Foster Care, and Foster Care for children. The Human Rights Campaign recognized Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Arizona in 2012 for its work with LGBT foster and adoptive families, with the “All Children – All Families” seal. Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Arizona was the first organization in Arizona to receive this honor. Devereux Website

When:
Desert Dolls Roller Derby 2017 Skate-A-Thon will be held Thursday, April 6th at 7:30PM at our practice facility.

What to expect at this event:
During Skate-a-Thons, skaters are often given either a set amount of time in which to skate as many laps as they can, or a set maximum number of laps to complete. For example: in a one hour time frame allowing a maximum of 200 laps skated. Prior to the Skate-a-Thon, participants are encouraged to secure pledges from businesses, family, friends, and neighbors. These can be either a per lap pledge, or a straight dollar amount pledge.

For DDRD’s skate-a-thon, players will skate as many laps as possible within 1 hour, max 200.

How do I make a donation?
Make a flat donation: To do this, use go fund me to make your donation. Be sure to include your favorite players name, so they get credit for the donation.

Pledge per lap: This is a Skate-A-Thon! That means that you get to pledge a certain amount of money per lap. To do that, contact your favorite player to pledge. They will have a form for you to fill out. After the event, you will receive an invoice with how much your pledged donation is or you can pay in cash to the player you sponsored. You can also pay your pledge via the donation button below. Be sure to include your favorite players name, so they get credit for the donation!
