DC Trip for Capitol Christmas Tree
James & Antoinette Monroe have been invited to represent their local town, Eureka, as well as the whole state of Montana by serving food at the reception following the Capitol Christmas Tree Lighting event in December 2017 in Washington D.C. since the tree is being chosen from the Kootenai Forest. It is such an honor to be selected and we couldn't be more excited. The feelings we both had when we heard the news are very hard to express as they were all so overwhelming! Antoinette began crying... James... speechless.
We started our restaurant on September 1, 2016, bringing back James's Nationally Acclaimed Eureka Bubba Burger from 2009. It is still a "Hit," and the newest creation, the Montana Huckleberry Burger, is making quite an impression with a lot of folks. It was so good that a writer from the Montana Woman magazine had to write about it and the creators in the September 2017 edition!
With our restaurant only being open for a year, we are hoping that we could reach out for community support. The recognition of what we are doing here is great but funding is not provided. Any monies raised will cover airfare, a couple of nights in a hotel, transportation and some meals.
Since beginning our venture we have been very active in supporting our local community and we hope to be able to do so for years to come.
Any help you are willing to give would be very appreciated and we will make sure to represent our local community and the whole state of Montana with dignity and pride.
Thank you all in advance, even just reading and sharing our information and all your kind words of encouragement, prayers, positive vibes and love means the world to both of us.
