Dax's Cancer Treatment

Dax is my 17-year-old military macaw. I agreed to foster her more than 3 years ago, but fell in love, and later adopted.
Two months ago, I noticed a growth on her foot, which resulted in a toe amputation, and antibiotics, as the vet was convinced it was just an infection.
After her stitches were removed, the wound in her foot opened up and was once again infected. Only this time, it simply would not heal, and the skin was falling off her foot.
This resulted in an entire foot amputation, and this time my vet sent in for a pathology report. The result was a very aggressive sarcoma (cancer) that is growing too fast for them to even be able to determine if it's coming from bone or tissue.
More tumors were found on her leg, resulting in an entire leg amputation up to her hip in order to remove all possibly infected tissue.
Cancer research in birds is not very advanced or reliable at this time. However, birds with sarcoma do generally go on to live full lives with amputation of the affected limb. I have high hopes that Dax will be one of these survivors! She still has nearly 60 years left to her natural lifespan, and I want her to have as much of that as possible!
She is adapting well to one leg, but does require a change in feeding and cage setup in order to provide relief to her one, remaining leg.
All said and done, after three surgeries and several weekly vet appointments, any savings I had tucked away for veterinary care is long gone. And there may still be more costly procedures and expenses needed to ensure Dax survives with quality life.
I am struggling very much to cover all of the already incurred veterinary costs, and any help you could contribute would be greatly appreciated!
Ending Dax's life without a fight just wasn't possible for me. Regardless of what happens with this campaign, I will always figure out a way to ensure Dax lives on (assuming quality of life), even if it makes me bankrupt. She is a very special bird with a long life ahead of her!
