David Ward Healthcare Fund

Shortly after the photo was taken, in October 2015, David suffered a major stroke. This Go Fund Me account was established by his son, Jason Ward from Connecticut, as a means for any friends of Dave who would like to contribute to the costs associated with his continued health care.  100% of the funds raised will pay for hospital and hospice expenses not covered by insurance, including private hospice caregivers that currently cost over $300 a day.  The money raised is deposited directly into David and Jane's bank account. 

David has been in the hospital since October, but as of last week he is back at home in Ocean Beach under 24 hour nursing care.
