Help With a Navy Veteran's Funeral Expenses

David Harmon left this world on April 9th at the age of 66. He was a 20 year veteran of the Navy, a member of K.A.G., and a member of Rolling Thunder. He loved his country and was very proud of his service as a submariner.

While a few of David's funeral expenses are covered by the military, the majority are not, and need to be paid up front. He left no life insurance policy to cover these expenses. It was his wish that he be buried in the veteran's cemetery. I am doing my best to follow through with his wishes, but his death came quicker than expected and we were unprepared. 

Please, if you can help in any way, even sharing this, it would be a huge help. We only have a few days to raise this money, or we will have to hold off on his funeral until we can come up with the money. 

I (his daughter) will be in charge of these funds. The request is based on the amount the funeral home has quoted us for the very basic funeral service. Whatever is left over will be donated to a Veteran's organization.
