Many may have heard the devastating news that David Widmer , aka “Hollywood", “Bucket Head", "Dilbert", The Twin's Daddy O.  Passed away suddenly on May 8th 2019, caused by a Pulmonary Cardiac Arrest.

Dave’s twin sons Matthew and Austin have had such a hard time with this sudden loss of not only their father but their Best friend. These young men are facing the hard reality of burial and memorial costs. The estate also will face any Hospital charges that may not be covered by insurance not to mention any debts their father had. Matthew and Austin are considered David’s Next of Kin.

This emotional event began May 3rd when Dave contacted the EMTs to come to his residence for his inability to breath due to his lifelong ailment of Asthma. Dave was treated at home and although he felt better he still texted friends and family that he was going to a doctor to get a breathing treatment and checked out further. While driving Dave suffered another severe asthma attack. He knew in order to have any chance of surviving this attack he needed to pullover at a stop sign , where he then got out and went to the back of his truck and tried to catch his breath and the family is sure he was counting on someone to assist him.  Dave’s Angel was driving directly behind him and pulled over also , this kind person recognized Dave was in distress and immediately offered help and when Dave lost consciousness this gentleman started CPR,  Dave's heart stopped due to the lack of oxygen. The family would love to hear from Dave’s Angel , they have not been able to locate him. This man performed CPR on Dave until the Paramedics arrived. During this time, Dave’s son Austin recognized his father’s truck while driving in the opposite direction , parked and ran across the highway to be with his father. This event has been etched in Austin’s memories.

Dave was without a pulse and the kind man and paramedics continued CPR for 45 mins. His pulse was finally was recovered at the Olympic Medical Center Hospital on arrival thanks to these heroic efforts of strangers! Dave’s Heartbeat was compromised once again caused by a punctured lung and he went into Pulmonary Cardiac Arrest again which lasted another 20 mins.

Although Dave was on Life support,  his family and friends were able to tell him how much they love him, how much he impacted their lives and what a great father, son, stepfather, fiancé & friend he is and was to them! The family was comforted by all the community support and stories that were shared!
