David Harjo End of Life Memorial Fund

Donation protected
Our Beloved David Harjo passed away quietly on Monday due to complications from congestive heart failure.  He is loved greatly and will be missed. We are raising money so that the family doesn't go further into debt as mounting medical cost, funeral expenses, internment and The needs of his disabled wife continue to mount.

He was the sole income earner in his family as his wife, Rhonda, battles the debilitating disease Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) which is one of the most common inherited neurological disorders. A form of Muscular Dystrophy, CMT, is also known as hereditary motor and sensory neuropathy (HMSN) or peroneal muscular atrophy, which comprises a group of disorders that affect peripheral nerves.

David left his mark on the world through his love of people and his giving Spirit. The most kind-hearted and soft spoken to ever meet. David's positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and love of people were undeniably infectious. He was "everyone's Friend" - whether you had known him for years or had just met him. He served our country during the Vietnam War as a Special Service Officer specializing as a code breaker. This skill led him to become a Court Reporter for the remainder of his life after service. His generosity toward clients, colleagues and Judges was evident and he bettered the lives of everyone who knew him.  He loved to horseback ride, shoot a bow competitively, golf and a good hamburger. A Benchmark for us all.

As you can imagine, the costs of healthcare have taken a toll on the family. We are asking friends, family and associates to come to the aid of David's family by contributing as much as you can to help cover the costs of David's medical expenses, funeral and Memorial Fund for his loving wife whose own medical needs continue to mount. The Memorial Fund will continue to provide support for Rhonda as she now lives in a full time care facility.

David will be deeply missed by his friends and family but his Heart and Spirit will live on. The family greatly appreciates any and all support that is received. Please pray for Peace during this difficult time for the family. Thank you so much for your consideration.
